R-Kelly found guilty of sex trafficking and racketeering

Kelly has been found guilty after 2 decades of his sex trafficking scandal at the trail eleven accusers bravely spoke out it was nine women and two men who spoke out and took the stand over the six week trial the sentencing is sue on 4th of may and he could spend the rest of his life behind bars he was also found to have trafficked women between different US states during the trial it was found out that his managers, security guards had helped to assist him.

One woman had testified that Kelly imprisoned, drugged, and raped her she had said that after the verdict she had “been hiding” from Kelly because of the threats that had been made against her when she sent public with her accusations. One women Lizette Martinez had said she was “relieved” by the verdict. There were legal documents released that he also put these women through mental torment they were not allowed to eat or use the bathroom without his permission, and he controlled the clothes they wore and made them call him “daddy”.

Gloria Allred a lawyer who represented several victims had said that she had “pursued many sexual predators who committed crimes against women and children” and she had stated that “off all the predators Mr Kelly was the worst”. Many allegations in the trail were first laid out in the 2019 documentary surviving R Kelly this verdict is a relief after 13 years of R-Kelly escaping charges that started with him being acquitted for child pornography charges after the trail in illinois.
