La Palma volcano begins to bury homes after an eruption in the Canary Islands

The Spanish Island La Palma encountered a terrifying experience when the volcano erupted on Sunday 19th September 2021.

The aftermath of the volcano has caused hundreds of homes to become buried in the lava as it heads to the sea.

Thousands of people have been forced to leave their homes away from the path of the molten rock that has been erupting over the last 4 days.
