On November the 26th local businesses across the region will give children and young people the chance to work in important roles.
Since beginning loads of young people have worked alongside MPs Mayors and Tv Presenters gaining important information into their world of work and finding out what they might like to do in the future.

The experiences this year includes:
Compass (Barnsley Mental Health Support Team)
The Designers Republic
NHS Careers
CAMHS (Barnsley's Children and Adolescent Mental Health Service)
South Yorkshire Police
Teams across Barnsley Council, including councillors, children and adult social work, fostering, adoption, recruitment, communications, and marketing, and many more.
This is an incredible opportunity for the young people in the region to gain information and a really good and first-hand experience on work they might be interested in the future.
Cllr Tim Cheetham, Barnsley Council's Cabinet Spokesperson for Place (Regeneration and Culture) said ‘it was a perfect opportunity for young people to gain valuable experience’ he also said that "It's fantastic to see local businesses, organisations and the community coming together, making Barnsley the place of possibilities."
