Tensions begin to rise in what some people are calling the most important election in history!

Tensions have been rising across America, due to the election, but most of all in the heart of it all Washington D.C, so much so that 8-foot-high fences have had to be installed around the White House.

These are the same un-scalable fences that were used in the summer during the nation-wide justice for George Floyd protests. The reason for the fence seems, at the moment, to be unclear with many news channels giving different reasons.

What we do know is that Many black lives matter protestors and trump supporters have been clashing, causing a tense atmosphere. Police have also gotten involved in some cases, as The Mirror reported a “policeman punched a Biden supporter after he was caught taunting trump supporters at a rally”.

Many shop owners near D.C have begun to close and board up their shops as some fights break out between trump and Biden supporters. Furthermore, a gun store in Detroit has just sold out of guns as so many people are buying them to prepare for the night of possible violence that’s ahead.

The tension in America is rising steadily as the election winner is still not clear. Many countries, including the UK, are feeling the tense atmosphere all the way across the pond. The Mirror reported that many people in the UK believe this will affect them and other countries too in the way of how we will trade in the future and what effect it will have on the price of medication and the Irish border and an effect on other European countries.

It appears that as tensions rise more and more people are preparing for possible civil unrest and violence throughout the night. As many people feel this is one of the most important elections in history.
