Stoke City and Barnsley FC have received £10,000 and £8,000 fines respectively, after a heated affair at the Bet365 Stadium on 15th September.
The incidents that lead to the fines, also resulted in 3 dismissals, those being Stoke assistant Dean Holden, Potters' coach Rory Delap and Barnsley's assistant Joseph Laumann. The incident came in the dying minutes of the game, coming just minutes after Stoke City received a red card on the pitch in the 85th minute.
The fracas started after the Barnsley Manager Markus Schopp attempted to get the ball back from Dean Holden, leading to a slight push that escalated to chaos, resulting in players getting involved to try to separate the individuals.
The game leading up to the incident was an entertaining match, including a wonderful freekick from Barnsley forward Cauley Woodrow, to cancel out Sam Surridge’s opener, as well as a penalty save from Barnsley keeper Bradley Collins.

Barnsley assistant Laumann has been given a two-game ban for his part in the incident, as well as a £2,500 fine, whilst fellow Barnsley coach Tonda Eckert was given a three-game ban and a £2,750 fine.
Meanwhile, Holden and Delap were given a one-game ban each and fined £2,000 and £1,800 respectively, with Delap also admitting his behaviour constituted violent conduct.
The match left Stoke in 5th place, and Barnsley in 17th place, however, both Dean Holden and Rory Delap will serve one-match suspensions.
