Barnsley Bright Bulbs

After the chaotic year that we have all experienced, Barnsley are determined to end 2020 on a lighter note. Barnsley bright night is returning this year, with fun Christmassy craft ideas, winter windowland and there is a chance to feature in this years Christmas card!

On Sunday the 20th of December, MarkMark productions will be putting on a unique panto for Bright Nights Online followed by Christmas Stories with Barnsley Libraries as well as a unique twist on a Christmas Carol with Strata Brass.

If you are struggling to find fun and festive activities to do as a family on the run up to Christmas you can head over to the Barnsley Council website to download craft packs such as, stained-glass stars, a snowflake dancer, a flickering tea light village or your very own winter window to brighten up your street this Christmas.

With all none essential shops now open, whilst you are out about during the month of December doing your Christmas shopping it’ll be a great opportunity to check out all of the stunning Christmas lights in and around the town centre, to help you get into the Christmas spirit. But making sure you are sticking to the current coronavirus restrictions that we are under in South Yorkshire, to keep you and others safe.
