Last night Middlesbrough got the better of Sheffield United. The blades struggled and ended their seven game, unbeaten run. Sheffield United conceded in the 9th minute due to Duncan Watmore. The goal was well built up. With the assist coming through Marc Bola. Then later on in the 37th minute Paddy McNair’s put side of the box strike added to united poor defending. With the assist coming from Matt Crooks .

Neil Warnock is probably too long in the tooth to worry any more about pressure building on the terraces, but he will have enjoyed his post-match drink at a Riverside that got fully behind his team far more than his opposite number Slavisa Jokanvoic, grim-faced throughout. The blades had 65% possession compared to boro’s 35%
This continues to Sheffield United's terrible start to the season which after this result puts them in 12th place compared to Middlesbrough 11th place jumping united after the win.
