After the debacle at Wimbledon the owls needed a reaction, but the first half display at Cambridge was far from good enough as they looked disjointed and tired, Cambridge took the lead through a header from former Barnsley man George Williams, Cambridge could of scored more in that first half against the dire Wednesday side, the second half was slightly better from Wednesday as they had a lot more of the ball but they still failed to create chances until Fisayo Dele-Bashiru fired in for his first senior goal, the 21 year old was a shining light in a poor display and deserved his goa, Wednesday seemed to click into gear after the equaliser and could of actually won the game as Liam Palmer’s header was superbly saved by Cambridge keeper DimitarMitov, Darren Moore’s tactical decisions have been heavily questioned by the fans and looking at the quality in the squad 9th place just isn’t good enough and he is starting to lose the fan base quickly.
