Wycombe opened the scoring through Brandon Hanlan scoring in the 22nd minute. Kevin de Bruyne equalised just seven minutes later. Riyad Mahrez and Phil Foden both scored before half time. Ferran Torres, Riyad Mahrez again and Cole palmer scored in the second half. Phil Foden stood out in the game grabbing two assists and a goal.

Sheffield united vs Southampton- Sheffield united scored early in the eighth minute through Enda stevens. Southampton replied quickly scoring in the 23rd minute to equalise eventually taking the lead in the 53rd minute through Mohammed Salisu with oli McBurnie replying with an equalising goal shortly after taking the game to penalties which Southampton won 2-4.

QPR vs Everton- QPR scored first through Charlie Austin Lucas Digne scored the equalising goal but not for long as Charlie Austin scored just 4 minutes later to reclaim the lead but not long after half time Andros Townsend scored the goal to take the game to penalties QPR won 8-7 on penalties.

Preston vs Cheltenham town- Preston beat Cheltenham 4-1 with Andrew Hughes and joe Rafferty scoring first before Cheltenham replied with a goal from Kyle Vassel just two minutes after coming off the bench goals from Sean Maguire and Emil Riis saw Preston finish strong.

Liverpool vs Norwich city- Liverpool saw Norwich off 3-0 with a double from Takumi Minamino and a goal from Divock Origi. Three first team debuts where given to some Liverpool academy players.

Leeds United vs Fulham- Leeds played Fulham in a thrilling 0-0 draw which went to penalties which Leeds won 5-6 on penalties the game saw two academy players start for Leeds in Crysencio Summerville and Charlie Cresswell with Stuart mckinstry coming of the bench to score in the shootout.

Burnley vs Rochdale- Burnley saw off Rochdale 4-1. Rochdale scored first through Jake Beesley but Burnley replied quickly just three minutes later with Jay Rodriguez scoring a hattrick in the space of twelve minutes later finishing the scoring off with another goal to getting himself four in the game.

Brentford vs Oldham athletic- Brentford demolished Oldham 7-0 with Marcus Forss scoring a hattrick by halftime they where 5-0 up by half time with a goal from Yoane Wissa and an own goal from Raphael Diarra with Marcus Forss and Yoane Wissa both scoring in the second half to finish the scoring.
