Denmark entered their second game of the tournament, facing an in-form Belgium side who looked very impressive in their opener, where they easily cast aside a lackluster and quite frankly lethargic Russia side during their opener, where they won 3-0.

The Danes went into the game, brave to even still be playing in the tournament, with their squad member Christian Eriksen still in hospital recovering from his cardiac arrest in Denmark's opening game of the tournament.

Denmark looked really impressive in the first half, but the extra quality possessed by Belgium really shone through in the second half. After scoring in the second minute of the game through Poulsen, Denmark controlled the game in the first period, and they really exploited the weak points of the Belgian side.

The Beligan side really looked a serious contender to win the whole tournament in their opening game, where they impressively scored three goals, two from in form striker Lukaku, who entered the torment on the back of a very impressive season with Inter Milan, where he contributed quite significantly to their title winning campaign. He again looked in fine form when he took to the field in Copenhagen. Although he didn't get on the score sheet, his presence was clearly noted, playing a key part in both of his side's goals showing how helpful he is off the ball, as well as on it.

But the main man and arguably Belgium's best player, took centre stage in this fixture, even though he didn't come on till half time, Kevin De Bruyne had an exceptional game. After collecting an assist just ten minutes after entering the frame at half time, he then scored what was eventually the winner with a beautiful left footed strike 20 minutes from the full time whistle. Showing just how good he can be, and he will no doubt be the main man and a contender for player of the tournament, provided Belgium progress deeper into the competition and he keeps himself fit, and doesn't pick up any injuries.

The ball was played off the pitch in the tenth minute of the game, by the Belgian players, as a mark of respect and in tribute to Christian Ericksen, something i'm sure all Danes across the globe appreciated. The whole situation has made people think, and it has seen football come together over the past 6 days.
