Fikayo Tomori move to AC Milan will come as no shock to fans as he spent last season on loan
The 23 year old only managed 17 games but it was enough for the Seria A to buy the promising young defender. The red side of Milan had a buy clause £25 million but it has been understood that that fee could rise to £30 million. The Deal is lasting for four years with the Italian giants.
The young Defender was pushed out at Chelsea due to the much experienced centre back room which includes Tiago Silva and Cesar Azpilicueta.
This isn’t the first time Tomori has been loaned out, previously to Derby, Hull and Brighton.
He has also represented England at multiple Youth Levels and made his International Senior debut in 2019 against Kosovo in the Euro 2020 qualifier.
AC Milan Finished 2nd in Italy and will qualify for the Champions League. So he could get a chance to play his former team if they get drawn against each other.
This will seem a big loss and could hurt Chelsea in the Future but only time will tell if it was the right decision.
