It’s now 4 games without a win for the owls as they conceded a last minute equalizer to draw 1-1 with struggling Ipswich at Portman Road.

Wednesday dominated the ball in the first half without creating many clear cut chances, which is becoming a worrying trend. But a looping volley from Dennis Adeniran gave them the lead in the 26th minute, it was a spectacular goal from a player that is quickly becoming a fans favourite in S6.

The second half of the game was a totally different story as Ipswich dominated proceedings as the owls sat back trying to protect their 0-1 lead which has been criticized by supporters after the game. But really they could have seen the game out as it was only a mistake reminiscent of Shay given from Bailey Peacock-Farrell that denied Wednesday a valuable win.

The keeper on loan from Burnley didn’t notice striker Macauley Bonne lurking behind him as he dropped the ball to his feet and Bonne quickly nipped in and squared the ball to Connor Chaplin to convert into an open net.

After such a good start to the season Peacock-Farrell has made three costly mistakes in three games, there is now huge pressure on Darren Moore after he had brought the whole club together in the summer. This shows how quickly things can change.
