Sheffield Wednesday vs Oxford review

I don’t think I need to tell you the result of Sheffield Wednesday’s match with Oxford at Hillsborough after the brilliant win at Wigan, the owls put in a lacklustre performance that was the polar opposite of the high energy performance at Wigan, Oxford dominated early proceedings and grabbed a deserved lead as Cameron Brannagan dispossessed Marvin Johnson and fired a low shot in at the near post, the second half change with Saido

Berahino replacing Lee Gregory seemed to swing the game slightly in Wednesday’s favour as the striker caused problems and struck the post with a header shortly after coming on, the owls finally forced an equaliser as Marvin Johnson’s pinpoint cross was headed in by Callum Paterson for his second goal in as many games, Wednesday pushed for a winner and had a penalty shout in added time waved away by the referee after Paterson was shoved over in the box, in classic Wednesday fashion Oxford immediately went up the pitch and James Henry turned and poked the ball into the net to give Oxford a dramatic win, there is huge pressure on Darren Moore so things need to improve and quick before his position becomes untenable with the fans.
