As he set out to raise £77,777 for fellow Leeds Rhinos legend Rob Burrow and MDNA (Motor Neuron Disease Association) by running 7 marathons in 7 days Kevin Sinfield has to this very moment raised over 2.4 million pounds. A truly astonishing achievement and a touching moment in the world of sports as it shows just how much of a community our favourite form of entertainment has.

The two played together for most part of 17 years at The Carnegie, Burrow retired in 2017 and in December of 2019, he revealed to the world that he had the disease.

Burrows emotionally sung praises about his old captain saying “Kev, from day one, has always been a role model for me, and someone who I hold in the highest regard. I hope you know I'd do the same for you, it means everything to me."
