Nottingham Forest looked to be a crisis club when experienced manager Chris Hughton was sacked after a dismal start to the season which saw the reds collect only 1 point out of the first 7 games, tempers were flaring and the owner EvangelosmMarinakis was getting huge criticism for his running of the club mainly the constant wave of players from the other club he owns Olympiacos, players from the Greek club are being brought in left right and centre and a lot of them don’t even play a minute for the club before leaving to be replaced by more players who won’t play, this transfer activity has puzzled many forest fans, it felt like former Swansea manager Steve Cooper was entering a poison chalice and many fans were wondering why he had took the job but the Welshmen has managed to totally turn around forest’s fortunes, last night’s dramatic win at Bristol city was their fourth win in a row, they fell behind to a goal from teenager Alex Scott after Brennan Johnson had hit the post for Forest at the other end, forest pushed for the equalizer until added time in the second half when Djed Spence was upended in the box and Lyle Taylor coolly slotted away the penalty and incredibly a minute later Taylor pounced after Joe Lolley’s shot was parried by Daniel Bentley to unbelievably win Forest the game and send the travelling forest fans into pandemonium in the away end.
