Israel Adesanya, the current middleweight champion will be defending his belts this weekend against highly rated and undefeated, Paulo Costa.

The fight will be happening in Abu Dhabi with no crowds as usual, due to the current worldwide pandemic. Dominick Reyes also takes on Jan Błachowicz in the light heavy weight whilst Kai Kara-France takes on Brandon Royval in the flyweight. 

Adesanya, the eldest of the two at 31 years of age, stands at 6.3ft whilst Costa stands at 6.1ft. And Adesanya has a large reach advantage with 80in compared to 72in of Costa. Adesanya last fought on the 8th of March this year, beating Yoel Romero on decision whilst Costa hasn’t fought since august 2019, also beating Yoel Romero taking him to number 2 in the middleweight rankings which makes this fight one of the most anticipated fights in a long time. Whichever way this fight goes, one of these fighters will be losing their 100% record.
