67 international matches have taken place since October 7th even though there is a worldwide pandemic in full swing, questions have been asked and opinions have been shared about these games taking place.

2020 has been an eventful year to say the least. When the pandemic took control in March/April it was fair to say people did not know how certain countries were going to react to the rising spread of the virus, with some countries in different transitions. Cases were rising and Governments across the world had to adapt and put their foot down. Lockdown became a thing and the world stopped, travel became a rarity and country started to shut their borders.
6 months on and Covid 19 is still on everyone’s minds, restrictions are being eased overall, and some countries are back to normal… but some are still struggling. With cases in Europe still rising, was it that sensible to bring nations together to play on the same pitch? Personally, I would say NO! We have to take in mind that anyone can get this virus, it isn’t a joke. It is proven with some massive names in sport catching the virus, with Cristiano Ronaldo being the recent superstar to get the virus…bearing in mind he played against France on Sunday.
To say the nation’s league is just glorified friendlies and the top 5 leagues are already behind in fixtures I think it's ridiculous that these games have taken place. The risk of Covid spreading will be so high it will break the scale…expect to see more cases soon
