The draw for the first round of the FA Cup happened on Sunday, and following replays on Tuesday we now have all but one draw finalized, with 8 Yorkshire teams in the competition, with four entering this round and four having come through qualifying. With that said, here are the ties involving Yorkshire clubs.
Bradford City vs Exeter City:
(Valley Parade)
The first clash here is an all League 2 affair between West-Yorkshire Bradford and the Devon based Exeter. The two sides have already played each other on the opening weekend at St James Park, in a match that finished 0-0.

Sheffield Wednesday vs Plymouth Argyle:
(Hillsborough Stadium)
Sheffield Wednesday take part in the first round for the first time in a decade, and they take on another League 1 side in the in-form Plymouth Argyle. These two teams have also played each other already, with Plymouth winning 3-0 at Home Park, but will there be a different result at Hillsborough?
Scunthorpe United vs Doncaster Rovers:
(Glanford Park)
The first different League tie here is Between League 1 Doncaster and League 2 Scunthorpe, who are currently sitting at the bottom of the Football League. The two teams last played each in in 2019, where the two drew 0-0 at Glanford Park in a League 1 match. An interesting thig to note is the two side will play each other again just three days after this in the EFL trophy.
Rotherham United vs Bromley:
(New York Stadium)
The final tie involving a League side sees Rotherham take on Bromley of the National League. Both sides come into this match in good form, neither having lost since early September, and both sides are currently sitting 5th in their respective leagues.

Halifax Town vs Maidenhead United:
(The Shay)
In an all non-league affair, National League rival Halifax Town and Maidenhead United face off. It should be noted that in the league, Halifax have only lost one game at home this season whilst Maidenhead have only won one away game this season , those results coming against each when Maidenhead won 2-1 at The Shay back in august.
York City vs Buxton:
(York Community Stadium)
A tie between two lower ranked team with National League North team York City Taking on Northern Premier League Premier Division side Buxton, in a clash between Division 6 and 7. It should be noted that this is also the only tie between two teams outside the top 5 leagues.

Harrogate Town vs Wrexham:
(Wetherby Road)
Our next game goes cross country as League 2 Harrogate Town take the Welsh National League side of Wrexham. These 2 teams have played before, most recently having seen Wrexham Win 2-0 at Wetherby Road in January 2020.
AFC Wimbledon vs Guiseley:
(Plough Lane)
The last Yorkshire tie, and the only one where the Yorkshire is of a lower league to their opponents, sees Guiseley of the National League North travel to London to play League 1 AFC Wimbledon. A five match winless run might give to Guiseley, but they will be clear outsiders for this tie.
